Update on Imran Ghafur
VOM staff in Pakistan recently met with Imran’s family, and they gave us an update on his situation in prison. They say he is in good health. Each Thursday, Imran’s family visits him. Visits are limited to 25 minutes, and they sit behind a window and speak by intercom.
Imran is in his cell all the time and comes out only for a head count twice a day. His cell is 26 feet by 20 feet, has tile floor and gray cement walls with metal bars on the front of the cell. The room is windowless, with two small vents on the roof. Summer temperatures can reach 120 degrees, and afternoons in the cell can be brutal.
Continue to pray for Imran's release, and for his family.
