In October 2003, Chinese Pastor Liu Fenggang was arrested and charged with “leaking state secrets.” Police searched his Beijing apartment and confiscated computers and cameras. Liu was sentenced to three years in prison.

Spreading the gospel in China is very dangerous, but Christians have been strengthened in the midst of persecution by the prayers and help of believers like you. We invite you to write a letter of encouragement to Pastor Liu and other believers in China. Also, write to the Chinese government requesting that Pastor Liu be released. Let your friends know about the suffering Christians in China and encourage then to write and pray for Pastor Liu today.

The reward for your endeavor will be what is said by many prisoners "while doing time for God, we praise Him that we are not forgotten." Even in the most horrific conditions and suffering there can be dignity. This is what you will give to a fellow believer in our Lord Jesus Christ.
